Frank Hoensch/RedfernsAlice Merton is back with new music.

The “No Roots” singer has dropped a fresh single called “Vertigo.” The track is now available for digital download, and you can watch its accompanying video streaming now on YouTube.

“‘Vertigo’ was the first song I had written, where I thought ‘OK, now I’m actually writing for the next album,'” Merton tells Rolling Stone. “For the first time in a while, I felt excited to have written a song that I couldn’t wait to perform live.”

That next album will follow Merton’s full-length debut, 2019’s Mint. That record includes Merton’s breakout hit “No Roots,” which hit number one on Billboard‘s Alternative Airplay chart, as well as the singles “Lash Out” and “Funny Business.”
